The App is a calculation aid intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals — registered dietitians, nutrition support clinicians, and similarly qualified users. It performs reference calculations (needs assessment, amputation-adjusted BMI, and enteral/parenteral nutrition math) based on formulas and data drawn from published clinical literature and manufacturer product labeling, cited within the App.
The App does not practice medicine, nutrition therapy, or pharmacy, and using it does not create a provider-patient relationship between you, your patients, and the App's publisher. Every output is a starting point for your own independent clinical judgment — not a verified order, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to act. You are solely responsible for verifying calculated values (including any output related to enteral or parenteral nutrition dosing) against current facility protocol, product labeling, and — for any parenteral nutrition order — pharmacist review, before applying them to patient care.
This App is intended for use only by licensed healthcare professionals acting within their scope of practice. It is not intended for use by patients or consumers to self-direct their own care.
The App runs entirely in your browser. Patient information you type in is held only in that browser session and is not transmitted to, or stored by, the App's publisher. Because of this, you are responsible for following your own organization's policies on entering identifiable patient information into any device or software, including this one.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for your own professional use. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the App, or share your license key.
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Formula composition data, clinical reference values, and calculation methods are sourced from the citations in the App's Sources & Notes section but may not reflect the most current manufacturer labeling or institutional protocol at the time of your use.
