This policy explains what data Needs & Feeding ("the App") collects and how it's handled. The short version: the App does not collect, transmit, or store any patient information anywhere. Everything you type stays on your own device.

1. Information you enter into the App

Any patient or clinical data you type into the Needs Assessment, Amputation BMI, or EN/TPN calculator screens is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. It is never sent to, or visible to, the App's publisher or any third party. Closing the app, clearing your browser data, or uninstalling it removes this information permanently — nothing is retained anywhere else.

2. Activating the App

The App can be activated two ways, and neither involves patient data:

By email: if you type the email address you used at checkout into the "Already purchased?" box, that email is sent to a small verification service the publisher operates, which checks it against Gumroad's sale records for this product and returns a yes/no response. The email isn't logged or stored anywhere beyond that pass/fail check.
By license key: if you use your license key instead, that key (and only that key) is sent to the same verification service, which checks it against Gumroad's records and returns a yes/no response.

Either way, the exchange contains no clinical or patient information — only whatever you typed into the activation box itself.

3. Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Gumroad, Inc., a third-party payment processor. The App's publisher receives only what Gumroad provides for order fulfillment (such as your email address, for receipt and license-key delivery) and does not process or store your payment details. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs the checkout process: gumroad.com/privacy.

4. Analytics and tracking

The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind. It does not track your location, browsing activity, or usage patterns.

5. Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals and is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by children.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the current version will always be available at this page.
